Maggie Mulloy

Maggie Mulloy is a writer and screenwriter who lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband and three cats.

She has a bachelor's in history from Virginia Tech and a master's in Education from Shenandoah University. For fifteen years, she was a Social Studies and ESL teacher before transitioning to writing. She was recently a fellow in the Women in Film and Video's Narrative Script Development Fellowship.

As a Latina with an American-sounding name, she enjoys writing stories that express diverse viewpoints through complex, layered characters. Her focus is on women, families, and the messiness of life. She is ready and excited to share her work with readers.
